Out & About In Sheffield

Venue, Accomodation, and Travel

Picture of Sheffield Sheffield is located in the northern half of England, in the County of Yorkshire.

The City is surrounded on all sides by some of the finest countryside in England. To one side there are the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and the haunting Yorkshire Moors, while the other side boarders the picturesque Derbyshire Peak District. To the south of the City can be found the Lincolnshire Wolds, a small but fine County area.

The Sheffield Supertrm
In the last couple of years Sheffield has seen the return of the Tram to the City streets. Running from various City suburbs, the introduction of the modern tram system is an effort by the City Fathers to persuade motorists to leave their car at home when visiting the City Center, much of which is now pedestrian precincts.
